International Employees

All international employees must complete certain forms before a paycheck will be issued. These forms help to determine if the tax treaty is available to them. One document requirement to work in the United States is a valid social security card allowing work in the US.  Other documents you will need to be provide to the payroll tax coordinator:

Foreign National Questionnaire completed and signed
Copy of Visa and Passport
Copy of Social Security Card or ITIN
Copy of TCU ID
Copy of I-20 or DS-2019
Copy of I-94

The Foreign National Questionnaire must be accurately completed. This form can be obtained on HR's Forms and Publications page.

Before a paycheck will be issued, these documents must be in the possession of the Payroll tax coordinator located in the Human Resource/Payroll office. The payroll tax coordinator will enter data into the International Tax treaty System. The tax treaty system will provide and print out all forms regarding treaty benefits. Your signature will be required on the tax treaty document. The Payroll office requires addressees to be current at all times.  Please verify your address on self service at my.tcu.edu and make any changes necessary.
