Finding On-Campus Employment

Career Services provides job listings of available on-campus jobs. Job listings can be found at their web site at http://www.careers.tcu.edu

Career Services will have you complete an I-9, and a Personal Data Form (PDF). Please take the completed PDF to the department of your employment.  Students must bring a Social Security card or notarized birth certificate or passport.

Once hired, your department will complete a Personnel Action Form (PAF) hiring you into the department. If you are a federal work study student the PAF and PDF will be sent to Financial Aid for review and then forward to Human Resources. If you are not a federal work study student (regular student) your PAF & PDF will be forward to Human Resources. Both a completed PDF & PAF are required to complete the hiring process.

Paycheck Procedures

Student employees are paid on a biweekly basis. Paysheets are used to report hours worked and are required to generate a paycheck. Paysheets must be delivered to Human Resources before 5:00 PM on the last Friday of the pay period. Click here to view a biweekly pay calendar.

Direct deposit is mandatory.  Enroll or maintain your direct deposit at Employee Self Service, which is also available at my.tcu.edu.  Within two pay periods, your paychecks will be automatically deposited into your banking account.  Paychecks will be issued during those two pay periods.  Verify if you have received a paycheck or if your check was direct deposited at my.tcu.edu, Employee Self Service, HR Self-Service Home, Payroll Information, View Paycheck. At the bottom of the online paycheck is Net Pay Distribution.  It will note whether you were issued a check or if it was direct deposited.  Paychecks will be available on pay day after 1:00 pm at Human Resources (3100 West Berry Street - Next to Boston Market).
