He is here to prove it in this lively talk about the people, problems and solutions he writes about in his books, The Dog of My Nightmares and Watchdog Nation. An inspiring storyteller and humorist, Dave is a member of the National Speakers Association and winner of the coveted Will Rogers Humanitarian Award. The Press Club of Dallas voted him best columnist in the American Southwest.

Writers Susan Wittig Albert and Susan Tweit talk about their recent memoirs, Together Alone and Walking Nature Home. Susan Albert details her life as a writer, wife and homesteader in the Texas countryside, while proclaimed nature writer, Susan Tweit, combines a scientist’s mind with a poet’s heart in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. Hear both women share their perspectives on identity,place, and the healing bounty of nature.
