Endowed Professor Faculty Position – Associate or Full Professor. The Department of Engineering at Texas Christian University invites applications for the Tex Moncrief Founding Chair in Engineering. Candidates should have earned a Doctorate in Engineering or a closely related field and have an excellent research record in the area of energy or bioengineering. The successful candidate must have broad interests in engineering and be interested in teaching undergraduate courses in either electrical or mechanical engineering fundamentals. He/she will be expected to establish an active undergraduate research program, and develop ties with the local industry.
TCU has a small, undergraduate, ABET accredited, interdisciplinary Engineering program with 200 students and 10 full-time staff offering a B.S. degree in engineering with electrical and mechanical areas of emphasis. Tenure Track Assistant/Associate Professor in Early Childhood Education

Position:
The College of Education seeks a tenure track Assistant or Associate Professor in Early Childhood
Education (EC-6). This faculty member will teach undergraduate and graduate courses and conduct and
publish research in the early childhood field.
Additional expectations include collaboration in multidisciplinary program development, advising and mentoring students, writing grant proposals, participating in service activities, and serving on assigned college and university committees.
Qualifications:
1. An earned doctorate in early childhood or a closely related field (or expected completion prior to August 2010).
2. A record of successful full time teaching experience at the early childhood/elementary level.
3. Expertise in an area of early childhood education, such as play and creativity, early childhood curriculum, early literacy, or child development.

5. A scholarly research agenda and the potential for making national and international contributions to the early childhood field through research and publications.

The College of Fine Arts at Texas Christian University in Fort Worth invites applications and nominations for the new position of Director of the School of Art & Associate Professor/Professor of Art (tenure-track). Candidates must have demonstrated excellence in creative or scholarly accomplishments in art education, art history, graphic design, or studio art, and administrative and teaching experience with credentials that would merit appointment at the rank of Full or Associate Professor.
The Director will facilitate, advocate, and provide academic leadership in supporting faculty development and program growth, have administrative responsibilities for the school, and sustain relationships with the outstanding art museums in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, especially the Kimbell Art Museum, the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth, and the Amon Carter Museum.
DUTIES: The Director provides artistic and academic leadership for the school’s programs in art education, art history, graphic design, or studio art, and is responsible for the daily operations of the school’s office, building, and facilities. Major responsibilities include budget management, academic planning, curriculum, and personnel, as well as teaching in one’s area of specialization. Service to the university and community and continuing scholarship/creative activities are also expected. The ability to work effectively with college and university administrators and the capacity to articulate the goals and vision of the school are essential. The Director will be the public face of the School of Art and share responsibilities for development and community relations.
QUALIFICATIONS:Terminal degree is required. College/university teaching and administration, or significant professional experience, are also required. The successful candidate should have a distinguished record of achievements, national or international recognition as an artist, designer, or scholar, and familiarity with the curricular areas offered by the school, including digital technologies. Visionary leadership and currency in 21st-century theories, media, and genres are expected.
The Director is paid on a 9-month contract with an additional summer stipend. The Director’s term is three years with review and possible reappointment. A shortened tenure probationary period is negotiable. Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience.
The School of Art is housed in the J. M. Moudy Building, an architectural landmark on campus, designed by the architectural firm of Kevin Roche John Dinkeloo and Associates. Outstanding studios, lecture halls, digital labs, and the visual resources library support the creative and academic activities of students. Degrees programs in the school include the BA in art history, BFA in art education, graphic design, or studio art, MA in art history, and MFA in studio art. Each degree program has an area coordinator who reports directly to the Director. The School of Art includes two active exhibition spaces: the on-campus Moudy Gallery and Fort Worth Contemporary Arts, a new experimental gallery located in an urban area near campus. The Department of Information Systems and Supply Chain Management at TCU invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor of supply and value chain management. The 12-member department offers an undergraduate major in supply and value chain management and an MBA concentration in the area. EMBA courses are offered in supply chain management, statistics, and operations management. The Supply and Value Chain Center (SVCC) in the Neeley School works closely with the business community to help them meet their supply chain challenges. To enable students, faculty, and business leaders to exchange ideas and best practices, the SVCC hosts an annual Global Supply Chain Conference and other executive forums on critical supply chain issues.
