TCU staff can volunteer to help with various activities at TCU as long as the following conditions are met -
- There are no penalties for not volunteering and there are no rewards as a result of volunteering.
- It is clearly understood from the beginning, by all involved parties, that this activity is strictly a voluntary situation and there is no payment for services.
- You cannot volunteer to perform the same type of duties you perform as a routine part of your regular TCU job.
For example a service assistant cannot volunteer to clean up after an event, an administrative assistant cannot volunteer to type up reports, memos etc. They can serve food, judge floats, help with activities etc.
